What to expect from a treatment.
On your first treatment you will have a consultation where medical history will be taken and to find out why you have come for a Bowen treatment. You will then receive a treatment. This is done through light clothing and can be on a couch or if you are unable to lie down can be done in a sitting position. The Bowen moves are made using my thumbs and fingers and are of a gentle pressure, a rolling type move is made over muscle and tendons. Periods of rest are given during the treatment. The treatment tends to be very pleasant and relaxing to receive. Usually three treatments initially is advisable, although are not always necessary depending on the client's symptoms. At the end of the treatment I will discuss with you if more treatments are required.
